Open mornings for prospective parents

We will be holding open mornings for prospective parents on the following dates:

• 9.30 am on Tuesday 6th October 2026
• 9.30 am on Wednesday 7th October 2026

Our open mornings will comprise of a short presentation to tell you all about LDSM and school life and there will be a tour of the school to give you an insight into everything they love about LDSM. Please note that this presentation and tour is aimed at parents/carers and will last approximately one hour in total.

Selecting a school for your child is an important decision.  LDSM is a special place of which we are very proud and we encourage parents to come and find this out by visiting the school.  The school will be ‘live’ during the morning so you will be able to see the children and staff in action and gain a flavour of how the school works. If you have any questions, we will be on hand to talk to you about anything you’d like to know before and afterwards.

You can read our Ofsted and SIAMs reports on our school website but as these both only give a written snapshot of the school, we encourage you to visit us to see the school in action.

Processes are in place to notify the local authority of every application and outcome as soon as reasonably practicable with an aim to do this within two days.
